THE
ASSEMBLY.

"Secular community resilience isn't built with sermons, but with labor, skills, and radical transparency."

The Church of Many Hands is a secular non-profit organization based in Lansing, Michigan. We took our name from the original Greek root of the word "church"—ecclesia—which simply means a gathering or an assembly.

The 85/15 Pledge

Direct Impact. Zero to pews.

85% goes directly into the dirt: seeds, tools, materials, and training gear.
15% capped for the "boring but necessary" stuff: insurance, legal, and ops.

Our Story

We aren't a house of worship. We don't have pews, we don't preach, and we don't pray (Well, some of us don't).

Founded by a close-knit group of longtime friends and colleagues, we recognized unmet needs in our state and committed ourselves to creating real, hands-on change. Each founder brings a distinct personality, leadership style, and practical skill set, creating a balanced team grounded in integrity, accountability, and action.

The Leadership
